Young Minds for Public Health: Aryakul Marks National Vaccination Day with Competitions

Students at Aryakul College of Pharmacy and Research turned National Vaccination Day into a vibrant mix of creativity and awareness, organizing a series of engaging competitions to highlight the importance of immunization. The programme began with the national anthem and ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by energetic student-led activities including speech, poster presentation, slogan writing, and panel discussions, where participants shared powerful ideas on how vaccination helps build a healthier and safer society.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aditya Singh said National Vaccination Day, observed on March 16, marks the launch of India’s Pulse Polio Immunization Programme, and urged students to spread awareness about the life-saving benefits of vaccination in society.
Creativity Meets Health Awareness
Students used creativity and discussion to spread awareness about vaccination through speeches, posters, slogans, and panel discussions. They highlighted the importance of vaccines in preventing diseases, emphasized the role of pharmacists in strengthening public health, and stressed the need to break myths and misconceptions around immunization to build a healthier and more informed society.

Encouraging Social Responsibility Among Youth
Managing Director Dr. Sashakt Singh appreciated the efforts of the participants and emphasized that such initiatives help strengthen students’ sense of social responsibility.
The event was successfully organized with the support of Registrar Sudesh Kumar Tiwari, HOD B. K.
