Hostel Facility to Begin at APSEN College; New Courses Announced for 2026–27

Merit-based hostel seats, BBA & B.Sc. courses, and online admissions from April 6 announced

In a significant step towards improving student facilities and expanding academic offerings, APSEN Memorial Girls PG College in Lucknow has announced the launch of its first-ever hostel facility from the upcoming academic session 2026–27. The move is aimed at providing better residential support to outstation students and enhancing campus life.
As per the plan, 20 students will be selected on merit through an application-based process. The college administration has confirmed that arrangements for both accommodation and meals will be provided, while the hostel fee structure will be finalized soon.
New Courses to Boost Career Opportunities
Alongside infrastructure development, the college is also strengthening its academic portfolio. From the new session, BBA and B.Sc. courses will be introduced as professional programs, in addition to the existing B.A. Home Science course.
The initiative is expected to provide students with employment-oriented education and align academic programs with current industry demands.
Admissions Begin April 6
The decisions were taken during an admission committee meeting chaired by Principal Prof. Rachna Srivastava. It was confirmed that the admission process will begin on April 6, marking the start of preparations for the new academic session.
To ensure transparency and efficiency, the college will be integrated into the centralized admission system of Lucknow University this year. The prospectus will be available for ₹500 at the college office.
Affiliation Process Underway
The college has already received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Lucknow University, and the affiliation process is currently in progress. Admissions will commence once formal approval is granted.
Digital Payment System
In line with digital transformation, the college administration has also decided to implement an online-only fee payment system, making transactions more convenient and transparent for students.
The admission committee meeting witnessed the presence of several faculty members, including Dr. Richa Mukta, Dr. Monika Awasthi, Dr. Vaishali Awasthi, Neeraj Kumar, Rakesh Gupta, and Gauranshi Pandey, who contributed to key decisions regarding the upcoming session.
