Aryakul College Lucknow Hosts National Seminar, Leads Mega Tree Drive

Experts, academicians, and students unite to integrate traditional wisdom into modern education while promoting environmental responsibility

Aryakul College of Education, Bijnor (Lucknow), organized a dynamic one-day national seminar on the theme “Integration of Indian Knowledge Tradition in Higher Education Curriculum,” drawing enthusiastic participation from students and educators across institutions.
The seminar aimed to bridge the gap between traditional Indian knowledge systems and contemporary higher education, while also instilling value-based learning and environmental awareness among students. Adding a meaningful dimension to the event, a large-scale tree plantation drive was conducted, where participants planted saplings and pledged to ensure their care and conservation.
Indian Knowledge Takes Center Stage
The inaugural session set the tone for insightful discussions. Chairing the first technical session, Dr. Sashakt Singh, Managing Director of Aryakul Group, highlighted the enduring relevance of Indian knowledge traditions in shaping a holistic worldview for students. Eminent speakers, including Swant Ranjan of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Prof. Jai Shankar Pandey from University of Lucknow, shared their perspectives on integrating cultural wisdom into academic frameworks.
The second session, led by Prof. Dr. Manjul Trivedi, emphasized the practical and skill-based aspects of Indian knowledge traditions, encouraging self-reliance among learners. Experts from institutions like Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University contributed to enriching discussions.
In the third session, chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Hitaishi Singh, speakers focused on the ethical and value-based foundations of Indian traditions, underlining their role in character building and social responsibility.
Academic Exchange
The seminar concluded with an engaging panel discussion and interactive Q&A session, followed by a valedictory address by Prof. Dr. Shilshendu Trivedi from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, who termed the event a significant step toward academic enrichment and social transformation, as it brought together distinguished academicians, faculty members, and over 46 teachers from various districts for a vibrant exchange of ideas and community engagement.
The seminar reinforced Indian knowledge integration and inspired responsible, value-driven learning.
