LU Admission: Students Stage Protest, Demand Probe into Irregularities

Hundreds join peaceful demonstration; delegation submits memorandum seeking transparency and action against Admission Dean.

A wave of discontent swept through Lucknow University on Tuesday as students staged a peaceful protest over alleged irregularities in the ongoing admission process. Raising slogans for justice and transparency, the agitating students demanded an impartial inquiry into the role of the Admission Dean and strict action if any wrongdoing is found.

Students Demand Transparent Admissions

The protest remained orderly, with students emphasizing that their fight is for a fair and merit-based system. A student delegation also met the Registrar and formally submitted a memorandum outlining their concerns and demands.

“We want a transparent admission process where no deserving student is denied opportunity,” said one of the protestors, highlighting growing anxiety among aspirants.

The demonstration saw participation from hundreds of students, including Aditya Pandey, Prem Prakash, Anurag Chaudhary, Jatin Yadav, Suryansh Aryan, Akhilesh, Ajitendra Azad, Rudraveer, student leader Prashant Pal, Alok Yadav, Sumit, Amit, and many others.

With pressure mounting, all eyes are now on the university administration to respond to the allegations and restore confidence in the admission system.
