Lucknow Admissions Begins: DAV, KKC & BSNV Open Doors for Students

From offline forms at DAV to new-age programs at BSNV, Lucknow’s top colleges roll out upgraded admission plans

The race for college admissions in Lucknow has officially begun, with leading institutions affiliated to Lucknow University opening applications for the 2026 academic session. After Shia College, DAV Degree College has now kicked off registrations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, setting the pace for others to follow.

Admissions will take place through the university’s centralized system for key programs such as BA, BSc, LLB, and MA. Meanwhile, Kali Charan PG College is set to open its application window from April 3, followed by BSNV PG College on April 6. Alongside admissions, colleges are also stepping up infrastructure and student facilities this year.

DAV Goes Hybrid with Online + Offline Applications

In a student-friendly move, DAV Degree College has introduced a hybrid application system. Principal Prof. Rajeev Kumar Tripathi confirmed that students can apply both online and offline this year.

Opens from April 3

Kali Charan PG College is set to begin its admission process from April 3, offering a wide range of courses and a significant number of seats this academic session. Principal Prof. Chand Mohan Upadhyay informed that both online and offline application modes will be available for students. The college is offering 800 seats in BA, 60 in BSc, 360 in BCom, 60 in BBA, and 50 in BCA, with an application fee of ₹600.

BSNV Introduces New-Age Courses

BSNV PG College is introducing a modern edge to its academic offerings this year by launching three new career-oriented programs—BSc, BSc Computer Science, and BBA International Business, each with an intake of 60 seats. In addition to these new courses, the college is offering 700 seats each in BA and BSc (Bio group), along with 240 seats in BCom.

Applications will be accepted online from April 6 via the official website .

IIIT Lucknow Launches Digital Skills Program for Teachers

Adding to the academic buzz, IIIT Lucknow has introduced a Basic Computer Certificate Program for teachers through its incubation center. Supported by SCERT, the initiative focuses on enhancing digital teaching skills and reducing the digital divide in education.
