It is a moment of pride for Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation) as its alumna Pooja Tiwari has secured 7th rank in the state in the prestigious PCS-2024 examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). Achieving success in her very first attempt, Pooja has been selected for the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), bringing immense pride to her family, district, and alma mater.

Pooja Tiwari belongs to the 2016 batch of Lucknow Public School and completed her Intermediate in Science stream from the Sector-D branch of the school. She later pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from National PG College, Lucknow, and went on to complete her Master’s degree (MA) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.

Originally hailing from Araji Tendua village in Tanda tehsil of Ambedkar Nagar district, Pooja is the daughter of Satya Prakash Tiwari, who is posted as a Sub-Inspector at Ravindra Nagar Police Station in Kushinagar. She credited her success to the unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement of her parents.

Sharing her preparation strategy, Pooja said that her goal had always been to join the administrative services and work for public welfare. Keeping this aim in mind, she began preparing for civil services soon after completing her graduation. She emphasized that instead of collecting excessive study material, she focused on limited and relevant syllabus-based preparation. According to her, the key mantra behind her success was “a fixed syllabus and consistent practice.”

The management, teachers, and students of Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation) expressed great happiness over her achievement. School Manager Lokesh Singh and Director Dr. Rashmi Pathak congratulated Pooja Tiwari on her remarkable success and extended their best wishes for her future.
