IIIT Lucknow Opens PhD Admissions for July 2026 Session; Apply by May 25

Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow has announced the start of its PhD admission process for the July 2026 academic session. The institute is inviting online applications from eligible candidates in the disciplines of Engineering, Management, and Mathematics. Interested applicants can submit their forms through the official portal until May 25, 2026.
Three Admission Categories Offered
The institute has introduced three distinct categories for PhD aspirants:
• Self-Financed Full-Time Research Scholars: Candidates admitted under this category will not receive financial support from the institute. However, applicants holding fellowships or funding from agencies such as CSIR, UGC, DAE, NBHM, DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, or ICPR are also eligible to apply under this category.
• Working Professionals: Designed for candidates currently employed, allowing them to pursue doctoral research alongside their professional commitments.
• “ASHA” (Aspiring Students in Higher Academics): A dedicated category aimed at encouraging students to take up advanced research and academic careers.
