In a major employment opportunity for young job seekers, Tata Motors will conduct a five-day campus recruitment drive in Lucknow starting May 12, offering around 350 vacancies for its Pantnagar plant in Uttarakhand. The drive is expected to benefit candidates who are looking for industrial jobs, including those without technical diplomas or engineering degrees.
Recruitment Schedule and Venue
According to ITI Placement Officer MM Khan, the first phase of the campus drive will be held on May 12 at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj. The recruitment process will then continue from May 13 to May 16 at the Tata Motors campus located on Deva Road, Chinhat.
The recruitment drive is being organised in collaboration with the Regional Employment Office and Quess Corp.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed High School, Intermediate, or possess other eligible qualifications can participate in the recruitment process. Tata Motors will recruit candidates for regular job roles as well as Mechatronics Trainee positions.
Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years of age. Entry to the campus venue will be allowed only until 8:00 AM on all recruitment days.
Salary and Documents Required
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹19,800, according to officials.
Interested candidates can register online through the Rojgaar Sangam Portal rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in
Candidates can also directly attend the campus drive with their updated CV, original educational certificates, photocopies, and other required documents. No application or recruitment fee will be charged.
Opportunity for Non-Technical Candidates
Officials said the recruitment drive is significant because it opens opportunities for non-technical and general education candidates who often miss out on industrial hiring drives focused on diploma or engineering qualifications. The initiative is expected to attract a large number of youth from Lucknow and nearby districts seeking stable employment in the automobile sector.
