Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University has started the online application process for admission to its PhD programmes for the academic session 2025-26. Interested candidates can apply through the university’s official website till May 31.

According to the admission notification issued by Admission Director Prof. Anamika Chaudhary, admissions will be conducted for 278 seats across 20 departments under seven faculties. Selection will be based on UGC-NET/JRF merit scores followed by a university-level interview.

In a major step towards international academic participation, the university has reserved 134 seats for international students this year.

The university has also announced the application fee structure for different categories of candidates. Divyang (PwD) applicants will have to pay Rs 500 as the application fee, while the fee for non-divyang candidates has been fixed at Rs 1,000. International applicants will be required to pay Rs 2,500.

Candidates seeking admission are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and admission guidelines available on the university portal before submitting their applications.
