PG admission deadline extended at Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow

Last date for applications pushed to June 27; candidates get additional time for CUET and non-CUET programmes

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow, has extended the deadline for online applications to its postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2026–27. The revised last date for submitting applications is now June 27, 2026, instead of the earlier deadline of June 20.
According to the admission director, Prof. Anamika Chaudhary, the application process for both CUET-PG and non-CUET categories has been active since May 20, 2026, through the Samarth Portal. The extension has been granted following requests from applicants and guardians to provide additional time for completing the admission process.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh appealed to candidates to complete their applications within the extended timeline and make full use of the opportunity. He emphasized the university’s commitment to providing inclusive and quality higher education along with a strong academic environment.
The university offers a total of 1,077 seats across various postgraduate programmes. These include MA courses in Hindi, English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Education; MSc programmes in Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Microbiology, and Information Technology; along with MSW, MCom, MBA, MCA, MVA, LLM, M.Ed Special Education, B.Ed Special Education, M.Tech, PGDRF, and MPhil in Clinical Psychology. In addition, PGDAVT and MPO courses are available under the non-CUET category.
