Lucknow University has released the schedule for undergraduate entrance examinations for the 2026–27 academic session. The examination process will begin on July 6, with two entrance tests scheduled each day in separate shifts for different undergraduate programmes. According to the university Examination Department, the schedule is provisional and may be revised if necessary.

The entrance examination cycle will commence on July 6 with the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication entrance test in the morning shift, followed by the Bachelor of Elementary Education examination in the afternoon.

On July 7, entrance examinations will be conducted for B.Voc and BFA and BVA programmes. The B.Com Honours and B.Com entrance tests are scheduled for July 8, while candidates seeking admission to the five year LLB programme and BBA course will appear for their examinations on July 9.

The D.Pharm and B.Sc Agriculture entrance examinations will be held on July 10. On July 11, candidates applying for B.Sc Biology and BA programmes will take their tests. The examination cycle will conclude on July 12 with entrance examinations for BCA and B.Sc Mathematics programmes.

University officials said each entrance test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying two marks each. Candidates will be allotted two hours to complete the examination. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The morning session examination will begin at 10:30 am, while the afternoon session will start at 2:30 pm.
