Indian Navy opens applications for Agniveer Apprentice 2026, diploma holders can apply till June 29

The Indian Navy has started the application process for Agniveer Apprentice Recruitment 2026, inviting eligible diploma holders to apply for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. The opportunity is aimed at young candidates seeking technical training and hands-on experience while serving in the Navy. Online applications will remain open until June 29, 2026.
Who can apply
Candidates must have passed Class 10 and completed a three-year Engineering or Electrical Diploma from an AICTE recognised institution. Applicants are also required to have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in both Class 10 and their diploma programme.
Age criteria
For Batch 01/2027, candidates should be born between December 1, 2004, and May 31, 2009. For Batch 02/2027, the eligible date of birth range is May 1, 2005, to October 31, 2009.
Selected candidates will receive a starting monthly package of Rs 30,000, with annual increments during their tenure. The recruitment also offers a life insurance cover of up to Rs 48 lakh. In the event of death during service, financial assistance of Rs 44 lakh is provided to the family.

Medical Examination
Candidates who clear all stages will undergo training in Odisha before joining service.
Applicants are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 550 plus 18% GST. The application window will close on June 29, 2026, making it important for interested candidates to complete the registration process well before the deadline.
