The university has extended the registration deadline for the ongoing admission process to June 30, providing relief to candidates who were unable to apply before the earlier cut-off date of June 22.
The admission process will be conducted through five regular counselling rounds and two special rounds. According to the revised schedule, choice filling and locking for the first round will take place from July 4 to July 7, while seat allotment results will be announced on July 9.
Candidates allotted seats in the first round will be able to complete seat confirmation, freezing or floating formalities between July 9 and July 12.
For the second counselling round, choice filling will be open from July 13 to July 14, followed by seat allotment on July 16. The seat confirmation fee payment and seat freeze/float options will remain available from July 16 to July 18.
In the third round, online choice locking will be conducted from July 19 to July 20. Seat allotment results will be declared on July 22, and candidates can complete seat confirmation and freeze/float procedures on July 22 and July 23.
The fourth round seat allotment is scheduled for July 24. Candidates will be able to pay the seat confirmation fee between July 24 and July 26. Online withdrawal of allotted seats will be permitted from July 24 to July 29.
Students who secure and lock seats during the first four rounds will be required to complete physical reporting at their allotted institutes between July 27 and July 29.
University officials said that nearly 95,000 candidates have already registered for the admission process, indicating strong demand for engineering seats across AKTU affiliated institutions this year.
