UP Home Guard result 2025 declared: over 1.07 lakh candidates shortlisted for physical test against 41,424 vacancies

The shortlisted candidates will now undergo document verification and physical standard tests, with the next phase schedule expected to be announced soon.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has declared the written examination result for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 41,424 Home Guard vacancies across the state.

A total of 1,07,221 candidates have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process, which means nearly 2.6 candidates have been shortlisted for every available post.

The written examination was held on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026. The merit list has been prepared on the basis of normalized written examination scores, along with additional marks awarded for preferential qualifications, wherever applicable.

Final answer key released

Along with the result, the recruitment board has also released the final answer key after reviewing objections raised by candidates. According to UPPRPB, all objections were examined by subject experts before finalising the answer key.

Candidates can check their results and download the final answer key by visiting the official UPPRPB website.

DV and physical test schedule soon

Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will now appear for the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The board has stated that the detailed schedule for the next phase of the recruitment process will be announced on its official website shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the portal for the latest updates.

UPPRPB also clarified that every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published results. However, if any technical or clerical error is detected during the recruitment process, candidates will not be entitled to claim any benefit arising from such an error. In such cases, the decision of the recruitment board will be final.

Physical Standards for Recruitment

Male Candidates

General/OBC/SC: Minimum height – 168 cm

ST: Minimum height – 160 cm

Female Candidates

General/OBC/SC: Minimum height – 152 cm

ST: Minimum height – 147 cm

Minimum Weight (All Categories): 40 kg
