DSMNRU announces PG admission merit schedule for 2026-27, counselling begins July 27

University releases complete admission timeline, including merit lists, document verification, fee submission, and waiting list schedule for postgraduate programmes.

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU) has released the admission schedule for postgraduate (PG) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The university has outlined a phased admission process covering merit list publication, counselling, document verification, and fee payment for eligible candidates.

According to the admission schedule, the first merit list will be published on July 23 on the university official website. Candidates shortlisted in the first round will attend counselling and original document verification on July 27, while the admission fee can be deposited between July 27 and July 28.

The university will release the second merit list, along with the first waiting list, on July 30. Applicants selected in the second merit list will undergo counselling and document verification on August 3, followed by fee submission from August 3 to August 4.

Candidates included in the first waiting list will complete counselling, verification of original documents, and fee payment between August 5 and August 6. The university has advised applicants to regularly check the official website for admission-related updates and merit lists.

Admissions will be offered across a wide range of postgraduate and professional programmes, including MA (Hindi, English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Education), MSc (Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Microbiology and Information Technology), MSW, MCom, MBA, MCA, MVA, LLM, M.Ed Special Education (HI/VI/IDD), B.Ed Special Education (HI/VI/IDD), MPO, and MTech programmes for the 2026-27 session.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh said the admission process is being conducted in a transparent and time bound manner. He urged candidates to adhere to the prescribed schedule and appear for counselling with all required original documents to avoid any inconvenience during the admission process.
