Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organise a multi city placement drive from July 27 to July 31, 2026, providing students and alumni with employment opportunities across diverse sectors. The recruitment initiative will be held in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, where more than 200 leading companies are expected to participate and recruit candidates for over 500 vacancies.

The placement drive is open to current IGNOU students, alumni, fresh graduates, and final semester students enrolled in a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Eligible candidates include those pursuing or having completed BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, B.Ed, MCom, PG Diploma, and several other academic courses.

• Delhi: July 27–28, 2026

• Bengaluru: July 29–30, 2026

• Ahmedabad: July 30–31, 2026

Candidates are required to report at the respective venue by 10:00 AM on the scheduled dates.

Salary and package

Compensation will vary depending on the company, job profile, and candidate qualifications. While several entry level roles offer salaries of around Rs 25,000 per month, selected candidates for specialised positions may receive annual packages of up to Rs 12 lakh.
