Lucknow University opens admissions for online programmes, applications accepted till September 4

Learners can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the universitys online education portal, with digital study material and virtual academic support included.

Lucknow University has commenced the admission process for its online degree programmes for the July 2026 academic session. The application portal is now live, allowing eligible candidates to apply for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses until September 4, 2026.
According to the universitys Centre for Online and Distance Education, applicants must first generate their Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID and Distance Education Bureau (DEB) ID through the designated DEB platform before completing the registration process on the universitys online admission portal. A non-refundable registration fee of Rs 250 is applicable for all applicants.
The university has designed its online programmes to provide flexible learning without compromising academic support. Students enrolled in these courses will receive digital study resources, including PDF lecture notes and recorded video lectures. Faculty members will also offer online academic guidance and address students’ queries through virtual interactions.
While teaching and learning activities will be conducted online, students will be required to visit the university campus to appear for semester examinations, which will be held every six months.

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com): ₹5,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹1,750
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): ₹15,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹4,000
Postgraduate Programmes
• M.Com (Marketing, Finance & Accounting): ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• M.A. English: ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• M.A. Economics: ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• M.A. Political Science: ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• Master of Social Work (MSW): ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• M.A. Sanskrit: ₹8,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹2,000
• MBA (Finance Management, Marketing & Human Resources): ₹25,000 per semester; Examination Fee: ₹4,000
