Displaying exceptional sportsmanship and strategy, the Under-19 Girls Kabaddi Team of Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation), South City branch, has clinched the prestigious title of the CBSE Cluster-IV Kabaddi Tournament 2026. Held at GD Goenka Public School, Kannauj, the schools players deeply impressed everyone with their stellar performance throughout the tournament.

The championship clash was played between LPS South City and St. Xavier High School, Hardoi. From the very first minute of the match, a neck-and-neck battle was witnessed between the two teams. While St. Xavier adopted an aggressive stance, the players of LPS South City maintained pressure on the opposition through disciplined defense and clever raiding skills. The team secured a 27–24 victory to capture the championship trophy.

For her outstanding all-around performance, Shiksha Singh was honored with the title of Best Player of the Tournament, while Anshika Verma, who rattled the opposition defense with her agile and powerful raids, was chosen as the Best Raider of the Tournament. The exceptional performance of both players played a pivotal role in the teams victory.

The contribution of the entire squad was commendable in this golden triumph. The team comprised Shaivi Rai, Anshika Verma, Ritika Yadav, Sanskriti Singh, Anvesha Yadav, Radhya, Alisha Singh, Shiksha Singh, Hansika Yadav, Sabya Rai, Riddhi Yadav, and Sagun Chaturvedi.
