Bringing laurels to Delhi Public School, Eldeco, Lucknow, Class III-E student Nandini Sharma clinched a Gold Medal in Kumite at the prestigious 20th All India Independence Day Cup Karate Championship 2026.

Held from August 7 to 9 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, the championship witnessed participation from promising young karate practitioners from across the country. Competing against strong contenders, Nandini delivered a confident and spirited performance, displaying impressive agility, technique, determination and fighting spirit to emerge victorious in her category.

Her achievement has added another proud moment to the schools sporting accomplishments and highlighted the importance of discipline and consistent effort in nurturing young talent.
