Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, has opened a fresh opportunity for candidates seeking admission against vacant seats in various programmes for the academic session 2026-27. The University will accept registrations from both CUET and Non-CUET candidates from August 11 to August 18, 2026.

The move comes as part of the Universitys ongoing admission counselling process to fill seats that remain vacant across eligible programmes. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can register for the available programmes during the notified registration window.

According to the counselling schedule, BBAU will hold the Second Spot Counselling on August 19, 2026. Candidates participating in the counselling will have to produce their original documents for verification. Those found eligible and selected for admission will subsequently receive challans for depositing the prescribed admission fee.

Candidates selected through the Second Spot Counselling must complete the fee payment process by August 23, 2026. Failure to deposit the fee within the stipulated deadline may affect the admission process.

Candidates already admitted elsewhere can also apply

In an important clarification, the University has stated that candidates who have already secured admission in another programme can also participate in the vacant-seat admission process. Such applicants may register for other available programmes, subject to the eligibility requirements and availability of seats.

The University has advised prospective applicants to carefully check the programme-wise vacant seats, eligibility conditions, registration details and counselling guidelines before applying.
